ACCIDENTS
• No one was injured when a pickup truck and a Jacksonville School District 117 bus carrying six children collided about 2:45 p.m. Thursday at King and Carroll roads southwest of Murrayville.
No citations were issued, according to the sheriff’s department.

ACCIDENTS
• A teenage girl was injured about 3:40 p.m. Thursday in a three-vehicle accident at West Morton Avenue and Massey Lane.
The 16-year-old girl, whose name was unavailable, was taken to Passavant Area Hospital, according to a police report.
Police said a vehicle being Steven J. VanHyning, 56, of Jacksonville struck the rear of the vehicle driven by the teenager, which then struck the rear of a vehicle being driven by Carrol A. Reichert, 63, of Jacksonville.
VanHyning was cited on a charge of following too closely.
• A 17-year-old boy was cited on a charge of failing to yield after the vehicle he was driving collided with a vehicle being driven by Emily R. Winters, 25, of Jacksonville about 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sherwood Eddy Drive and Woodland Place.
No injuries were reported.
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• David E. Swarringin, 25, of 800 Illinois Ave. and David M. Lemmons 32, of 214 N. Carroll St., Meredosia, were booked into the Morgan County Jail about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
• Matthew G. Beck, 23, of 516 S. Clay St., Ashland, was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 7:25 a.m. Thursday on charges of possession of methamphetamine, obstructing justice, theft, resisting a peace officer and on a warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court on a charge of obstructing identification.
• A 15-year-old boy was arrested about 12:10 p.m. Thursday on charges of aggravated battery and disorderly conduct after allegedly pushing a teacher and kicking over several desks at Garrison Alternative School.
