Morgan County

Jacksonville Police

ACCIDENTS

• A 27-year-old Jacksonville woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident about 4:35 p.m. Thursday at Hardin and East Morton avenues.

Kristina M. Iverson was taken to Passavant Area Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police said Jerry L. Johnson, 67, of Ashland was driving east on East Morton Avenue when his vehicle and a southbound vehicle being driven by Iverson collided at the intersection. Johnson’s vehicle then hit a stopped vehicle being driven by Benjamin C. Hollendonner, 33, of Jacksonville.

Johnson was cited on a charge of disobeying a traffic control device.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Harold L. Hankins, 69, of 404 Reid St. was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 2:53 a.m. Thursday on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic instrument, obstructing justice and resisting a peace officer.

• Crystal A. Hoffman, 45, of 9034 Hickory Road, Virginia, was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 3:41 a.m. Thursday on charges of driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use and no rear registration license plate.

BURGLARIES, THEFTS

• Someone stole a bicycle from a home in the 800 block of Grove Street between 5:50 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

• Someone stole a pink and gray bicycle from an unattached garage between midnight Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Caldwell Street.

VANDALISM

• Someone cut several blow-up Halloween decorations between 7:45 and 8:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Hardin Avenue.

• Someone used a sharp object to puncture a tire on a vehicle in the 200 block of East Morgan Street, according to a report filed at 10:35 a.m. Thursday.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Christopher A. Cecil, 30, of 109 E. Cedar Rail was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 7 p.m. Thursday on warrants accusing him of violating an order of protection and contempt of court.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Larry E. Kauffman, 53, of 352 McHenry St., Virginia, was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 3:22 p.m. Thursday on a charge of violating an order of protection.

Beardstown Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Crystal W. Bennett, 35, of 9659 Illinois Route 125 was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 3:59 p.m. Thursday on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failing to appear in court on charges of driving under the influence, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving while license is suspended.

• David L. Sweeten, 50, of Murrayville was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 8:55 p.m. Oct. 10 on a Greene County arrest warrant accusing him of felony driving while license is revoked.

Carrollton Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Heather N. Baumgartner, 26, of Carrollton was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 8:26 p.m. Saturday on a charge of driving while license is suspended.

• Matthew L. Hill, 35, of Carrollton was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 6 a.m. Saturday on a domestic battery charge.

• Ronald L. Tucker, 34, of Dittmer, Missouri, was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 4:12 a.m. Oct. 10 on a charge of driving while license is suspended and on a St. Louis arrest warrant accusing him of felony driving while license is suspended.

Greenfield Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Cameron M. Shafer, 19, of Jacksonville was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 12 on charges of driving under the influence, improper passing, having no valid driver’s license, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.

Roodhouse Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Dylan K. Pollard, 39, of Roodhouse was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 4 a.m. Tuesday on a Greene County arrest warrant accusing him of calculated criminal drug conspiracy.

• Nichole M. Thien, 32, of Roodhouse was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 9:57 p.m. Oct. 12 on a Greene County arrest warrant accusing him of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Randall T. Evans, 36, of Roodhouse was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 7:42 p.m. Oct. 10 on charges of driving while license is suspended and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.

White Hall Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Mark A. Dawber, 34, of White Hall was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 2 p.m. Saturday on a charge of aggravated domestic battery.

Bluffs Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Michael T. Cross, 33, of Bluffs was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 2:25 p.m. Monday on a charge of driving while license is suspended.
