BURGLARIES, THEFTS
• Someone stole a small safe containing a handgun and about $1,000 cash between 9 p.m. Tuesday and noon Wednesday from a residence on Alice Drive, according to a report filed at 12:38 p.m. Thursday.
OTHER REPORTS
• A woman living in the 700 block of West Walnut Street reported that an unknown man entered her home about 11:30 a.m. Thursday and then left when she saw him. Nothing was reported stolen.

• Marcus C. Williams, 20, of East St. Louis was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday on charges of driving while license is revoked or suspended and speeding.

• John C. Turley, 33, of Jacksonville was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 9 a.m. Sept. 20 on charges of driving while license is suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and having no valid registration.

• Tambra L. Virgin, 44, of Jerseyville was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 2:19 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct.
• Jimmy W. Davidson, 37, of Hillview was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 10:51 p.m. Sept. 22 on a charge of driving while license is suspended.
• Rodney M. Hughes, 44, of Carrollton was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 9:52 p.m. Sept. 13 on charges of resisting or obstructing a peace officer and aggravated battery to a peace officer and on a Pike County warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court.
• Nathan A. Cantrell, 20, of Topeka, Kansas, was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 2:44 p.m. Sept. 13 on a possession of methamphetamine charge.
• Blake A. Stewart, 29, of Jacksonville was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 8 on charges of driving under the influence, squealing of tires, improper lane use and resisting or obstructing a peace officer.

• Juston A. Elliott, 34, of Greenfield was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 20 on a charge of driving while license is suspended.
• Leslie E. Rockwell, 26, of Virginia was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 2:04 p.m. Sept. 10 on charges of driving while license is suspended and possession of cannabis.

• Scott R. Phares, 50, of White Hall was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 6:45 a.m. Sept. 15 on a charge of driving while license is suspended.
• Melody L. Taylor, 54, of White Hall was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 6:20 a.m. Sept. 15 on a disorderly conduct charge.
• Cody M. Wade, 21, of White Hall was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 4:07 p.m. Sept. 8 on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
• Brook A. Reno, 36, of White Hall was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 10:08 p.m. Sept. 7 on charges of driving under the influence, improper turn signal, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, having a loud exhaust system and operating a motor vehicle with an expired registration.

Winchester Police
ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• Michelle A. Holtz, 48, of Winchester was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 11:55 p.m. Sept. 13 on a battery charge.

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday on Illinois Route 104 west of Waverly. Suzanne K. Fernandes, 50, of Jacksonville, Shawn M. Berry, 35, of Bluffs and Mathieu Robillard, 38, of Girard were taken to Springfield hospitals, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department. Fernandes’s westbound vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with Robillard’s eastbound vehicle, according to the sheriff’s department. Fernandes was cited on charges of driving in the wrong lane and driving while license is suspended.
