ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Justin M. Clayton, 29, of 1214 Hickory Lane, Bluff, was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 9:41 a.m. Monday on charges of residential burglary and possession of a controlled substance.

ACCIDENTS

• A 17-year-old boy was arrested at 4:12 a.m. Monday on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident after he was accused of hitting a parked car in the 300 block of South Diamond Street.

He also was cited on charges of driving without a valid driver’s license and improper lane use.

• A vehicle driven by Lee R. Duncan, 23, of Jacksonville struck a parked and unoccupied car at 11:26 a.m. Monday. Duncan was cited for improper backing.

No injuries were reported.

• A vehicle driven by Mary E. Pocklinton of Meredosia struck a vehicle driven by Franklin. G. Pitman Jr., 45, of Winchester at 1:05 p.m. Monday. Pocklington was cited for following too closely.

No injuries were reported.
