• Richard W. Schindler, 69, of 1246 Sunnyside Road was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 4:10 p.m. Thursday on a charge of driving while license revoked or suspended.
• John D. Shoemaker, 23, of 415 Bedwell St. was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 7:30 p.m. Thursday on a warrant accusing him of theft.

• Clayton L. Whitaker, 33, of 455 S. East St. was arrested about 5:45 p.m. Thursday on a Sangamon County warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court on a charge of contempt of court.

Mitchell, 27, of 7874 Arenzville Road, Beardstown, was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 7:30 a.m. Thursday on charges of theft, aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, driving too fast for conditions and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
