Jacksonville Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Lyndi M. Saccaro, 20, of 3800 Buckeye Drive, Springfield, was arrested about 11:25 p.m. Thursday on charges of obstructing identification and illegal consumption of alcohol.

• Joseph A. Neff, 39, of 951 E. State St. was arrested about 1:05 a.m. Friday on a charge of criminal damage to property.

• Michaela N. Buss, 18, of 322 W. Dunlap St. was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 1:38 p.m. Friday on a retail theft charge.

• James A. Fanning, 45, of 2419 Woodson-Franklin Blacktop, Franklin, was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 1:50 p.m. Friday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

• A 17-year-old girl was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 2:01 p.m. Friday on a retail theft charge.

THEFTS

• A CD player was taken from a vehicle in the 100 block of Walnut Court Street overnight Thursday, according to a report filed about 9:27 a.m. Friday.

ACCIDENTS

• A 17-year-old girl was cited for following too closely after the vehicle she was driving hit the rear of a vehicle being driven about 17-year-old boy about 12:32 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of West Morton Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

• One person was injured after a two-vehicle accident about 3:40 p.m. Friday at East Douglas Avenue and Mauvaisterre Street.

Danna M. Bauser, 26, of Jacksonville was taken to Passavant Area Hospital. Her condition was not available Friday.

Gregory S. Simpson, 58, of Jacksonville was cited for disobeying a stop sign after the vehicle he was driving hit a vehicle being driven by Bauser.

No other injuries were reported.
