ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Daniel R. Szafraniec, 53, of 544 Brooklyn Ave. was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 10:43 a.m. Saturday on a domestic battery charge.

Jacksonville Police

ACCIDENTS

• William J. Dirksmeyer, 68, of White Hall was cited for improper lane use after the vehicle he was driving crossed into the center turn lane, hitting another vehicle being driven by Kathleen R. Rice, 42, of Roodhouse about 1:42 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of West Morton Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

VANDALISM

• Several buildings on the Jacksonville Developmental Center grounds were vandalized between 11:30 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

BURGLARIES, THEFTS

• A purse was taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of South Grand Avenue overnight Friday.

• A wallet was taken from one vehicle on Baxter Place and a pair of sunglasses were taken from another vehicle on Baxter Place overnight Friday.

South Jacksonville Police

ACCIDENTS

• Thomas R. Graham, 27, of Roodhouse was cited for failure to reduce speed after the vehicle he was driving hit a vehicle being driven by Ian C. McGee, 26, of Murrayville about 11:56 a.m. Saturday at South Main Street and Vandalia Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Adam L. Coats, 28, of 1207 Jackson St., Beardstown, was booked into the Morgan County Jail about 2:29 p.m. Saturday on charges of aggravated battery, resisting a peace officer and criminal damage to battery.
