Man stabbed during
attack in parking lot
A 22-year-old man was stabbed in the arm about 11 p.m. Thursday in northeast Jacksonville, according to police reports.
The man said he was attacked by two men in a parking lot near East Walnut Street and North Clay Avenue.
The victim was treated at Passavant Area Hospital for a non-life-threatening injury, according to police.
Lt. Adam Mefford said the attack appears to be an isolated incident. It remains under investigation.

Palmyra man charged
after report of gunshots
A Palmyra man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of a weapon by a felon after a report of shots being fired at a Fairview Farm Road location.
Deputies were called about 3:35 p.m. Wednesday by someone who said shots had been fired in the direction of the caller.
David W. Huson, 52, of Palmyra was arrested after an investigation into the report, according to the Macoupin County Sheriff’s Department.
He was being held Friday in lieu of $30,000 bail.
