ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Phillip E. Kirchner, 43, of 103 W. South St., Perry, was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 10 a.m. Thursday on a charge of driving while license is suspended.

Jacksonville Police

ACCIDENTS

• A 14-year-old boy was injured about 8 p.m. Wednesday when his bicycle struck a car in a parking lot in the 600 block of North Main Street.

The unidentified boy was taken to Passavant Area Hospital for treatment.

Police said the teen was talking on a cellphone at the time of the accident.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Lavosia D. Huggins, 26, of 695 N. Clay Ave. was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 10:57 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of driving while license is suspended or revoked.

• William E. Kroush, 29, of 834 S. Saratoga St., Ashland, was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 4:30 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving while license is suspended or revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

• Jonathan S. Cooley, 31, of 615 N. Clinton St., Meredosia, was lodged in the Morgan County Jail at 6:45 p.m. Thursday on a charge of violating probation on a previous offense of theft.

South Jacksonville Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Steven M.T. Waid, 22, of 120 E. Vandalia Road was lodged in the Morgan County Jail at 12:40 p.m. Thursday on a charge of criminal damage to property.
