ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• Tarus J. Johnson, 42, of 815 W. College Ave. was arrested about 11:20 p.m. Friday on charges of domestic battery, possession of methamphetamine and on a parole violation.
• Akwaya T. Whitfield, 23, of 623 S. Diamond St. was arrested about 2:40 a.m. Saturday on charges of having no valid driver’s license and disobeying a stop/yield sign and on a Sangamon County warrant accusing her of failing to appear in court on a charge of driving while license suspended.
• Tyler J. Fanning, 22, of 911 S. East St. was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Saturday on a charge of domestic battery.
• Claudia H. Brennan, 37, of 9 Candletree Drive, Springfield, was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving under the influence, bribery and illegal lane use.
