Jacksonville Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Marcia F. Daily, 20, of 245 N. Marnico Lane was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 4:31 a.m. Monday on a charge of driving while license is revoked or suspended.

• Adam E. Moore, 33, of 115 Loren Lane was booked into the Morgan County Jail at 5:32 p.m. Monday on a charge of violating an order of protection.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Russell T. Neese, 23, of Versailles was cited on a charge of explosion of fireworks at 11:36 p.m. Friday after an incident in the 300 block of West Second Street, Versailles.

• James M. Bowman, 39, of Mount Sterling was cited on a charge of domestic battery at 10:16 p.m. Thursday after an incident in the 200 block of West Clay Street, Ripley.

Jacksonville police, fire and EMS crews respond around 3:18 p.m. Monday to a car-versus-pedestrian accident near Jacksonville High School. According to police, Harold R. Young, 69, of Jacksonville was entering the intersection at North Diamond and Oak streets when a 15-year-old boy ran in front of Young’s vehicle to cross North Diamond. The boy was transported to Passavant Area Hospital after suffering a minor laceration to his head and other non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
