ACCIDENTS

• A Waverly man was treated for minor injuries after a single-vehicle accident about 12:20 p.m. Sunday, according to deputies.

Trenton L. McHatton, 21, of Waverly was going north on Outing Club Road in Franklin when his vehicle went into gravel and then off the road, where it struck a power pole and then overturned.

Jacksonville Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Two people were arrested at 8:35 p.m. Saturday after police investigated a report of illegal activity taking place at an East Morton Avenue residence.

David E. Swarringin, 25, of 800 Illinois Ave., Apt. 1, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug equipment after police said they found three pipes commonly used to smoke cannabis.

Keith E. Collins, 25, of 1033 E. Morton Ave., Unit 13, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment after police said they found heroin and drug paraphernalia.

• Rachel N. Viviano, 35, of 815 W. College Ave. was lodged in the Morgan County Jail at 12:50 p.m. Sunday on a retail theft charge.

Sheriff

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Tyler J. Swearingin, 31, of Jerseyville was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 1:39 a.m. Friday on charges of reckless driving and fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer.

• Chase A. Newingham, 24, of Roodhouse turned himself in to authorities at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday on Greene County arrest warrants accusing him of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to a residence.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Alex S. Wemhoener, 25, of Jacksonville was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 12:56 a.m. Saturday on a charge of driving under the influence.

Roodhouse Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Jamie J. Moore, 42, of White Hall was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 5:48 p.m.Saturday on a charge of driving while license suspended.

White Hall Police

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

• Austin L. Spada, 21, of White Hall was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 1:45 p.m. Saturday on a charge of filing a false report to police.

• Melissa S. Taylor, 41, of Roodhouse was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on a Greene County petition to revoke probation.

• Carl E. Williams, 53, of White Hall was lodged in the Greene County Jail at 9:51 p.m. Thursday on a charge of violating the child sex offender registration act.
